If you have never had an experience with a Medium before, you may not know what to expect. I would like to explain a few of the most commonly asked questions.

What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?

All Mediums are Psychics…not all Psychics are Mediums.
In the same way that all Surgeons are Doctors but not all Doctors will go on to be Surgeons. A Medium is a specialist, so to speak. A Psychic tunes into the “aura” or “energy field” of the person that they are reading for to gather information, while a Medium can also do this…a Medium is also able to tune into the energy field of a person no longer in the physical body. I am actually able to connect with both “spirits crossed over” and spirits still “Earthbound” or typically called Ghosts. In most cases a Medium can usually connect with one or the other only, and usually those who have crossed over. I have connected with spirits who have been passed for only hours. A true Medium should be able to communicate with your friends and loved ones who are crossed over and deliver to you very specific and detailed information about you and your loved ones lives who are now crossed over. I do not consider people claiming to be Mediums who “Channel angels, guides and spiritual entities” to be Mediums in the true definition of the word. Unfortunately there are also many frauds and fakes, as well as, some “psychics” who claim to be Mediums and are not. I do not recommend “Phone Hot Lines” or “pay by the minute” psychics/networks. A reputable Medium will have their fees clearly stated. Please be discriminate and check credentials, all psychics are not equal!

How Spirits Communicate with me and my Psychic Abilities

As a Medium and a Psychic, I am Clairvoyant which means “Clear-Seeing” I can see spirits and images that they show me. I am Clairaudient which means “Clear-Hearing” so I can hear them speaking to me in my thoughts, telepathically; I will hear names, names of places, nicknames and other words. Some spirits will quite literally speak to me and have a conversation. I am very strongly Clairsentient, which means I can sense or feel their emotions; pains or injuries they had while in the physical body; I can also sense their personalities, for examples, if they had a great sense of humor, were very serious and stern, depressed etc. I am also Clairambient, which means occasionally, they will impress on to me a particular smell that would have been symbolic of them. I also am a Remote Viewer, which means that I can psychically “tune in” to a person or a place, somewhere else on the physical plane and see what is going on. As a Medical Intuitive, I also receive Health & Wellness information in Readings pertaining to the physical body.

*Every spirit communicates with me very differently.
Some will choose to show me a lot of visual images and symbolism, while others prefer to “speak” to me with thoughts. As different as their personalities were in life, they are in spirit, as well. Some spirits are very good at communication through this process and some are just learning, and it is as new to them as it may be to you.

With that being said, once you feel that you have found a reputable Medium,
it is important to come to the reading with an open mind.
If a person has already definitively decided in their mind, that this is not real, it can be sometimes very difficult to change that belief. This is especially true if the person has held some beliefs, religious or scientific, that bring up fear about Mediumship or Death. Even if I bring through the most mind blowing and detailed information from loved ones on the spirit side of life, the “closed” or fearful person will try to find any excuse to rationalize away the experience, so that they may find a way to support their already held belief…that this cannot possibly be real. I find this to be most true with people who have a lot of fear or misunderstanding about death, a strong need to be in control, or feel that this process or reality somehow threatens what they have already decided and strongly hold to be the “truth.”

**Leave Your Preconceived-Expectations at the Door

**If you would like to receive the best reading and experience possible, it is a good idea to have a few questions ready to begin with or specify a focus for your reading. Your focus may be current life issues of love, health or work for example, or to connect with loved ones on the spirit side but once we begin, please allow for Spirit to guide the reading and the process. The Medium cannot control the spirit world and neither can you. The most important thing to remember about this process is that the spirit world does not yield to the rules and laws of reason and logic that we live by here in the Physical world. This is not a rational, logical process. There is a whole set of “Natural-Spiritual Laws” present that govern the spirit world that are very different than the way things operate here in the physical plane. It is also very important to realize that we are not in control of this process, neither I nor you. It is not possible to control this energy or the spirit realm. The spirit world is in control and I am only the messenger or translator if you will. Any attempts to try and control or direct the reading, the spirits, or the information that comes through, will only cut off the energy flow and make the reading very difficult. It may also adversely affect your reading and your experience. If a person is particularly ungrateful, demanding or controlling, spirits may just stop communicating and end the reading. It is very important to be “open” to whomever and whatever information comes through. I always trust that whatever and whomever comes through, is what is most important for my client to hear at this time in their life. A message that seems unimportant at the time of the reading will often have major significance in the future – Please keep an open mind and hold on to it!

**It is VERY COMMON that some information that comes through in the reading may not makes sense to you at the time of the reading.
Please DO NOT dismiss the information as wrong, you will do yourself a huge disservice if you do. This is precisely why I provide you with a recording of the reading. I urge you to listen to the reading again, even if a few times if you need too. I receive countless emails weekly from people who validated information in a reading, after the reading. Many times skeptical people will wonder if I am a “mind reader” and not really connecting with people who are passed. Spirits have a great way of dismissing that by bringing through information that you have no knowledge of at the time of the reading, but later find out to be accurate. They will very often bring through events or signs to you that are going to be made visible to you in the future. This provides great validation to you that the whole experience was real and more importantly that I was really connecting with your loved one.
So do yourself a favor and do some homework, ask around your family or friends about unknown information in the reading.
As for the things you cannot validate right away, be patient and keep your mind open and sooner or later it will make sense and you will be sending me an email too.

Will the loved one I want to speak with come through?

In my personal experience as a Medium, 98% of the time the person that you want to come through, will. It is important to understand that the spirit world decide who will come through, not you or I. We may “ask” for a particular loved one to come through and If we are in the middle of the reading and they have not come through yet, I can usually find them and bring them through…if “they choose” to come through. There are occasionally, instances where a spirit will not come through for different “spiritual reasons” which are very individual, and may apply to the person that I am reading for or the spirit. Sometimes if the spirit died suddenly, tragically or very recently, they may not come through until the end of the reading. They do this so that the person that I am reading for can speak with some other loved ones first and get used to the process and feel comfortable with it. Otherwise, the intensity of the emotion of speaking with their loved one on the spirit side might be a little overwhelming. It is important to remember that they are your friends and loved ones and they come to say hello and offer comfort, support and closure…they do not want to scare you or upset you. If they sense that you are becoming scared or uncomfortable with the process they will often pull back their energy and stop communicating.

Can I ask questions and speak with my loved ones?

Absolutely, Yes! Think of it as if I am like the translator, delivering information back and forth between you and them, as if I was translating from one language to another. This is not possible in a Group Reading, for lack of time…but in a Private Reading, which is also tape recorded for you, you may ask questions. Every reading and spirit is very unique, and they may give you answers to some of your questions, but please be aware that they may not give you all the answers. Your life is yours to live, experience and learn, and they will not interfere with your personal growth and experience here by telling you what you should do or giving you “all the answers” to life…we are here to figure them out for ourselves. They will many times, however, offer their advice or guidance, or alert you to things you may need to be more aware of in your life or future. One important note to remember, is that when I “open up” I never know who will come through. It is like I am picking up a telephone and I do not know who will answer on the other end. Sometimes your neighbor from 30 years ago or an old friend from school will come through…often someone you have not thought about in many years. People always ask “what are they doing here” especially if it was not a close relation or friend…and when the person asks me why are they coming through? I say, because they can! Just as you are excited to speak with them, so they are they to speak with you. This is a rare and magical opportunity for both sides, never forget that.

Please also understand that many times spirits are asking me to deliver information and messages that I do not personally understand. This information may be related to their medical condition or work in life, for example. Some of the information may be out of my personal scope of understanding or knowledge and with that said, I will do my best to describe to you the nature of what is being shown or described to me by your loved one. I do not need you to give me information, but I may need you to validate what I am describing or help me to understand the nature of the information that I am receiving. My job is to deliver the messages from your loved ones as clearly and accurately as I can to you, and I may not always understand what the message means…but you will.

When I “hear” names, please keep in mind that I am not hearing them with my ears as I hear you.
I am “hearing” them in thought. I will hear names of people, places, nicknames and sometimes even pet’s names. Most of the time what I hear is crystal clear to me and I know exactly the name I am hearing. However some times, such as in the case of a nickname, pets name, name in another language, or some funny little made up name the family used, I may not hear the word exactly especially if the name is not familiar to me. For example, the first letter could be off, but it will sound very much like what I am saying. I may not be sure if I am hearing “Mickey” or “Nicky”, “Mary Lou” or “Mary Louise” or a version of a name like: Michael, Mike, Mikey or Miguel (if Spanish). Work with me here please, this is not as exact and clear some times as conversation in the physical world.

Spirits may not always designate to me whether they are, for example a “father”, “father-in law” or “step-father”.
Sometimes they will, but sometimes they won’t. I just know they are in the relationship of “father” to you, or are a person who was “like a father” to you (like a mother’s boyfriend).

If you have been married more than one time, even if you have been divorced for a very long time, family from that marriage may also come through in your reading as your family. Yes, even a former mother in law! Spiritually you are all still connected by the bonds of family whether you are divorced or not. If someone comes through that you were not on good terms with or maybe did not get along with in life, please be receptive. Many times they show up to make amends, apologize or ask for forgiveness.

What about “bad or evil” spirits, can they come through?

Many people who have misunderstanding and fear about what a Medium does will be afraid of this, especially if they come from a very strict or traditionally religious background. I understand and respect this concern, but it is a fear derived from a complete misunderstanding of the spirit realm and what I do as a Medium. I can assure you, that I have been doing this a long time, for a lot of people and have a lot of experience and very specialized training. I have very specific things that I do before doing this work, that make sure that both you and I are in the light of god and protected. I make sure that the only spirits that come through in a Reading, are coming through only from a place of love and caring for you and to support your highest good and personal growth. Period.
I NEVER feel afraid of my dealings with the spirit realm and neither should you. Communication with the spirit realm has one purpose and one purpose only, healing…for the person in spirit and also for the person still in the physical.

What about “Psychic” Readings and predicting the Future or Prophecy?

Some of my clients are not particularly interested in communicating with spirits but are wanting clarity and insight into their lives here in the physical plane. I am able to do this and yes, to look into the future. There is also much misunderstanding about “predicting the future” People always want to know “What is going to happen” regarding some particular thing in their life. First of all NO Psychic, including myself, can foresee your future 100% set in stone with 100% accuracy…if they say that they can they are not telling you the truth. What we see are; probabilities, possibilities and pathways into your future; opportunities and obstacles, based on where you are at that particular moment of your life at the time of the reading, the choices available to you, and sometimes the decisions you or someone else are most likely to make. In my work, I may see pathways that stand out very strongly to me and are most likely to manifest, and I am told that I am very accurate, however, every one of us always has free will, as do the other players in our lives, and can change everything in an instant. There is always an unpredictable element a “Wild Card”. Remember that you are writing your future every moment with your thoughts and actions…you can change direction at any time. Your life is the result of a series of choices presented to you, and the decisions that you make based on those choices. My work is to provide insight in to those choices that arise through the opportunities and obstacles presented to you…but the choice MUST be, and always is yours to make.

Fear and the Unknown Element…

It is part of my mission in this work to educate people and eliminate their fear and misunderstanding of Life, Death and the Spirit Side of Life. Death is not the end of life…death is merely a part of life. It is important to remember that we are not completely in control here, as much as we would like to be and think that we are……and we are not supposed to be. I have learned to be comfortable with the unknown, and with that which I cannot control and I have learned to quell my fears with trust and faith. My work with The Spirit World, God’s world, teaches me every day here is a gift to be embraced and enjoyed and sometimes just endured. I never take a moment or a day for granted, as tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Learn to be comfortable with the fact that we do not know or understand everything and let that just be ok. Your life is a choice, every moment you are creating your future by your beliefs and choices and thoughts. Choose to be happy, choose to embrace and seek out the joy in life, and choose to stay in the light. Choose to not tune into all of the darkness and negativity here. That does not mean to live in a bubble and ignore it, that means acknowledge it but then release it. Spirit tells me that every minute of every day, there is just as much good on this earth as bad, everything is in balance. It is just that we can sometimes be too tuned in to the negativity and darkness. Try to “choose” to tune into the light and goodness here.

Our lives are NOT about being a VICTIM or being the result of what has happened to us. Perceived – Bad things happen to all of us here in different ways all of the time. Our lives ARE all about how we overcome the bad things that happen to us. We are here to overcome, grow and most importantly …learn. Perceived “Bad” things, events or obstacles are actually opportunities to help us grow, not punishments. They are lessons, and we are here to learn. Fear can be a healthy early warning system if it keeps us out of a harmful situation, but is important to not let your life be ruled or controlled by fear.

“The Gift”

People always tell me that I have “a gift”, that they usually believe is from god. I am a bit uncomfortable with that, as it implies that I am somehow “a chosen one” or somehow elevated above, or different from other people.
I prefer to say that “I don’t have ‘a gift’, but rather I am the lucky one who gets to deliver… “The Gift’”. “The Gift” is a message or a “last word” from your loved ones and the spirit realm and is a small miracle here on earth and a brief glimpse into the heavens.
I do believe that I am probably “gifted” in the amount of natural ability that I have, but I have also worked very hard, over many years, developing and fine tuning my abilities and talent as any professional would. I would also say that everyone possesses the same intuitive abilities that I do to some degree. Every one of us has this innate ability. Many times we call it a “hunch” or “gut feeling” for example. Intuitive Sense is absolutely no different than the other physical senses, talents and abilities that we all possess. Take a Musical talent for example; you may be born with absolutely no musical ability what so ever, but take some piano classes and you can learn to play basic music. You probably will not go on to be a professional musician, but that is not the point. On the other hand, you may be born with a lot of natural musical ability, so you decide to train and practice and fine tune your craft and you go on to become a professional musician.

Have faith… Believe.

You do not need me to talk to your loved ones….they see you and they hear you. They can visit with you whenever they choose. If you hear from them or see them, do not be alarmed, it does not mean they are “stuck” here on the Physical Plane or not in heaven, they are just visiting you. If you want to see and hear them, then you must pay attention to your dreams as it is easy for them to visit you there. You must also learn to be quiet, still and receptive and if you try, have no fear, and practice, you may see and hear them too. Perfectly ordinary everyday people, tell me all of the time, about the experiences they have had of seeing and hearing their loved ones. All that is required is that you let go of your fear, pay attention and most importantly… believe!
